The legal studies program offers a B.S. with a concentration in legal studies/pre-law and an A.S. with a concentration in paralegal studies.
The legal studies/pre-law curriculum prepares those who are interested in a legal support career in a public or private organization. It also provides career development for those who already have an A.S. in paralegal studies or its equivalent. Career opportunities for legal studies graduates exist in law firms, state and federal government agencies, legal support agencies, corporate legal offices, and sole proprietor firms. Graduates who wish to continue their education are prepared to seek admission to law school.
